During the growing season end of March to early November Bizzy Lizzies Flowers is a hive of activity. It is a magical place to be, bursting with flowers throughout the growing season, Narcissi and Tulips in Spring, heavenly scented Sweet Peas in Summer and blowsy Dahlias in Autumn. Along with an abundance of other varieties in between.

For myself and our small creative team we are kept busy sowing, harvesting, arranging, meeting with customers. It is for the most part never ending work, not very glamorous, muddy boots etc, but oh so satisfying.

The garden is very extensive, established many years ago, We have worked tirelessly planting trees, and shrubs, and of course flowers. Improving the drainage, enriching the soil and creating that very necessary shelter belt, as we are located on the coast. As a result of all that ongoing work, we now have a micro climate which allows us to grow just about every shrub, flower imaginable.

During the winter months I spend a lot of my time searching for new varieties always adding and trying out new flowers, this I find so energizing, which all helps to sustain our creative juices.

As this is a busy working Flower Farm we cannot facilitate unannounced visits, except for booked in wedding clients, who have already been invited to visit for a one to one consultation, and customers who are collecting pre ordered bouquets. Thanking you for your understanding.
